This really very easy and simple. Just download one of our "DIY Memorial Picture" templates (or create your own). Print the image on your favorite photo paper. I prefer high gloss. I printed out an 8 X10 but you can make it larger if your computer is capable. The images files on Heavenly Images are high quality 300dpi (2400 X 3000 pixels). I like to use a larger frame with the appropriate mat opening. In this case I used a 14 X 17 frame with an 8 X 10 mat.
Then all you need to do is cut an opening in the circle area for your loved ones' picture. You might practice on a piece of similar paper. Don't worry if you mess up the first one. You can always print out another. Once you download one of our templates, you can print as many copies as you like.
You can cut the hole with a razor knife (be very careful). It's much easier if you use a drinking glass instead of a coffee cup like I did (the handle gets in the way).
Secure your loved ones' picture on the back of the template with clear tape. Then attach the template to the back of the mat, put the frame back together and you have a beautiful memorial picture to honor your loved one and to share with others. This makes a unique and caring gift for someone special.
