What Does The Bible Say About Astrology?
I recently received an email forward about the different signs of the zodiac and what each one meant and so on. What was really disturbing to me was that the email stated that if you didn't forward this to so many people, you would have so many years of bad luck. This is scary. It's not at all that I don't believe that there is power in astrology. Just the opposite. There certainly is power in astrology, fortune telling, magic etc. And if you start believe in them you might have "good luck". But you have to ask yourself, "Where is this power coming from?". It's not from God.
The Bible says,
"Keep on, then, with your magic spells and with your many sorceries,
which you have labored at since childhood. Perhaps you will succeed,
perhaps you will cause terror. All the counsel you have received has only worn you out!
Let your astrologers come forward, those stargazers who make predictions month by month,
let them save you from what is coming upon you. Surely they are like stubble; the fire will burn them up.
They cannot even save themselves from the power of the flame. Here are no coals to warm anyone; here is no fire to sit by.
That is all they can do for you-- these you have labored with and trafficked with since childhood.
Each of them goes on in his error; there is not one that can save you." (Isaiah 47:12-15
Keep you trust in God...not in the "luck" of this world.
